We live and use the natural environment and talk about it changes as if we (humans) have created and ownership of nature. Do we?

We often speak of the earth (nature) as if we have any ownership of this earth. We use, or better miss-use the natural resources as if, when it is cut back, emptied or rooted out, it will grow back and provide everlasting resources.

Chief Seattle “We Do Not Inherit the Earth from Our Ancestors; We Borrow It from Our Children.”

People often forget that the earth was not created to be used without brain, therefore, God created man with a functional brain. However, when we look at today's evidence and discussions about #climate #change, we can see that something went wrong somewhere. Chief Seattle has recognised the truth of ownership of the earth. So how can we use or miss-use the earth, when one day we will have to give the earth back to those who have a right to receive a place that demonstrates the beauty that was first put in place when this wonderful world was created.

What do we need to do now?

Coming to the realisation of the importance of every living thing on this planet and understand that in living together in unity will be the only way to accept each other and let every organism do what it was created to do. To come to this understanding, we need to treasure, value and protect the natural environment. This starts with the youngest of our society. Letting children have regular access and interaction with the natural environment and give them the opportunity to be one with nature.

Let us do this work from today on and use every opportunity to share the excitement of nature with our children and be an example of how nature can be an enrichment that can not be found anywhere else and therefore we need to cherish and protect it.

Through the beauty of nature,

Michaela
