Resources: paper cards with a picture of colours/shape/size of various, seasonal resources such as leaves, seeds, berries or any natural resources such as shells, sticks, stones,
Activity with additional learning:
Either collect various natural resources with the children or have the resources laid out before the children and talk about the resources. 1.1 Talk about the resources, where they come from, name, colour, shape, size, smell, how it feels, what you can do with this resource and how it is changing through weather or time influence.
Show children the cards with the picture of colour/shape/size of the natural resource and show example of how the real natural resource is matching to the picture. 2.1 Let children look for the natural resources in their immediate environment. (chose only cards & pictures, of items which are available in the emediate environment where children can collect them with safety considerations).
Ask children to match the collected natural resources to the cards.
